What is Halotherapy?
Halotherapy, or Salt Therapy, is a natural, relaxing way to relieve the irritating symptoms associated with skin and lung conditions. The therapy involves exposure of your sinuses, lungs, and skin to a controlled environment containing a fine, near-invisible mist of pharmaceutical grade dry-salt air from 10-40 minutes. This dry salt air compliments established medical treatment of airway and skin conditions and, in some cases, can also be used as a stand-alone therapy. The salt has been shown to help the body loosen trapped mucus and impurities, decrease inflammation, and kill bacteria; as well as help the body heal irritated mucus membranes from conditions such as sinus and chest congestion, allergies, and cystic fibrosis, and skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. Depending on the severity of the condition, 2 or 3 sessions in the first week may help to overcome acute symptoms, tapering off sessions as needed. An additional benefit of sitting in a salt room is that it seems to give clients a sense of calmness and well being.

What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup (PMU) is a form of tattoo done by manually implanting pigment into the dermis of the skin to create a makeup effect. Tiny, sterile, single use needles are used in a variety of techniques to either create hair strokes or powder effect.
How long does PMU last on the skin?
Modern permanent makeup has actually changed over the years and is now semi-permanent. Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years, and a refreshing touch up is recommended after a year. Ombre brows typically can stay on the skin for up to 3 years and requires less touch ups. The fact that permanent makeup is no longer permanent is a very good thing.
How old do I have to be?
18 is the age limit one must be in the state of Oregon to legally have any type of tattoo. Parental consent does not grant a minor the ability to have tattoos done. ID will be required.
Does it hurt?
This all depends on yourself and your pain tolerance. Numbing cream is applied before the procedure and numbing gel is reapplied throughout. Most clients experience slight discomfort and very few experience pain. You will be allowed to ask for more numbing gel if needed or a break!
How long is my appointment?
You should plan for 2.5 hrs. just in case. Most appointments take 2 hours from start to finish. Sometimes mapping or color absorption can take a little longer. Please arrive on time to avoid any overlap.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
To prepare for your appointment avoid plucking, trimming, or waxing your brows. I will work with you on finding your shape and taking care of any extra pesky little hairs. Avoid drinking caffeine or consuming alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment as this will thin your blood; same goes for pain killers.
What is the aftercare like?
You will be provided with everything needed for your aftercare. The first day you will be instructed to wash them 3-4 times with gentle cleanser applying ointment after each wash. For the next 7 days you will keep them as dry as possible and only applying a small amount of ointment twice a day. Aftercare is pretty easy to follow, however, failure to do so could lead to infection.
Who is not suitable for permanent makeup?
If you are pregnant or nursing pmu is not suitable for you. Please wait until you are no longer pregnant or nursing to book an appointment. If you are unsure of a medical condition or medication affecting your pmu please contact me or ask your doctor for clearance.
Can Microblading cover up a scar?
Microblading is great for covering up scars as long as they are healed! Please send the service provider a picture or have a consult done prior to appointment if this is the case.
How is my shape and color chosen?
Before starting any cosmetic tattooing several things will happen. First we measure and map out a shape that works with your features. You will be allowed to make any changes you want until you are happy! Color will be chosen out to match your natural hair. Normally you start out light and darken at the touch up if needed. Colors range from light to dark and cool to warm!
How white will my teeth get?
After undergoing whitening with the Teeth Whitening System, teeth shades will brighten up to 14 shades, with an average improvement of five to eight shades with each 20 minute session. Individual results will depend on your current tooth shade, treatment time, and the composition of your teeth. Your end result will be a whiter, healthier smile. Everyone's teeth are different and will have a natural stop point. We recommend a 60 minute session for optimal results and to remove all layers of staining.
How long will the whitening last?
This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle. However, with proper maintenance and periodic touch-up treatments, you can keep your smile looking great for a lifetime.
Is Laser Teeth Whitening safe?
Yes, the Laser teeth whitening gel formulation is an organic plant and mineral based product with built in enamel building qualities. Scientific research has shown that the active ingredients in our Teeth Whitening Gels are safe and effective. Our whitening equipment is FDA approved and has been used throughout the dental and cosmetic community for years. Teeth Whitening does not change or damage the structure of the teeth; it merely lifts and removes the stains, making your teeth whiter.
How long does the treatment take?
Treatment times are 20 to 60 minutes depending on the discoloration of your teeth and how white you want them.
Does it hurt?
No, because our signature laser gel is all natural the treatment does not hurt and most clients experience no sensitivity. A very small percentage of clients may feel some tooth sensitivity, especially if they are dehydrated or consume very cold/hot foods or drinks within two hours after the whitening session. Any sensitivity is short term and gone within 24-48 hours. We do offer solutions for those that are concerned about sensitivity.
Will the Whitening work on crowns and fillings?
Yes, Laser teeth whitening will remove staining from existing dental work and take it back to the original color. The goal is to clean up the existing dental work and whiten the natural teeth to match for a nice even smile. We cannot whiten them beyond the original color of the material used at the time of placement. If your existing dental work is not in your smile line it won’t matter either way because it is not visible.
Is Laser Teeth Whitening treatment for everyone?
The Laser Teeth Whitening treatment provides dramatic results for anyone who wants to whiten their teeth. This includes people with teeth that have been stained by smoking or by substances such as coffee, tea, soda, wine and other consumable items. We also see great results on people with teeth stained by tetracycline, fluoride, and hereditary discoloration.
